Crap sci fi movie help

Im trying to remember the name of an old sci fi movie I saw years ago.

The one random portion of the movie I remember is a scene with the female character of the movie is on a prison ship of some sort. Shes a doctor, or some form of guard on the ship. She approaches a door and one of the inmates lunges at it, begging for something, she replies -

"It doesnt matter how many fingers you bite off, you arent getting it!" (Or something like that)

And the prisoner slams his mauled hand against the glass. There is something else on the ship though, some kind of creature, you know the usual plot with it being contained and it breaks out, forcing her to come to eath to hunt it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Dunno but as for recent sci fi movies try "Splice" Holy fuck it is some messed up shit, I am still trying to shake some of the mental imagery.

I found the movie on amazon and given the description on imdb it certainly fits the bill. I dont remember much of the movie, beyond a few scraped together scenes. I was wondering if the creature controlled the inmates but it looks like it might have literally infested them and hidden inside, I also had a vague recollection to escape it, she actually hid in its own cell, but its been so long im grabbing at straws.

Ive checked youtube but there is nothing there for it, but ill keep looking, damn sir I'm sorry rep is all I have to give!

Thats definitely it, I sat through a few clips on youtube, part 1/5 actually has the clip with the prisoner biting off his fingers, kudos to the detective work of the freeones group!

Good or bad movie.. it's got the gorgeous Maryam D'abo in it :bowdown:
