Cops Kick & Punch Surrendered, Face-down Perp

The guy led them on a bit of a chase, then finally gave up. He lays face-down on the ground, hands above his head, and the first cop runs up and kicks him in the head. At least one other cop punches him. The cops then exchange high-fives.

Meh, fuck it they've done their job, why not allow a high five, congrats to your team members always helps hold a team together.

Why not kick him in the shoulder make sure he is thoroughly subdued, i'm already tired with how many cops are picked up on their conduct, atleast i don't have to hear about it in the UK so much, that punch to the side might have been in aid of getting the offenders arm up anyway.

Who knows lets leave it to independant investigation, we know where this thread is gonna go like all the previous others.

Well yes.... and before anyone starts shedding tears for the perp, he is a wanted parolee with a really long rap sheet longer, and a proven member of a agressive gang in that area. Both of the others in the car with him were his fellow gang members. They were all in a stolen car, running from the police, endangering the public by doing so. And crashed into other peoples cars, thier personal property. Then attempted to flee on foot, after a lengthy car chase.

Take a step back and see if you'll defend that guy after he just wasted your 30 thousand dollar car that you don't even own yet. What if, when he crashed he killed some kid??

True the officer should not have kicked the guy. But IN MY OPINION, he was filth to begin with.

Better them than one of his victims getting to him first...if they trashed my car I'd be a bit less than concerned about his well-being if I got in touch with him.

I said "so much" i hear everday that this American cops done this or that, Every now and again we get told about misconduct here like Jean Charles de Menezes and to be fair in that case the officer who fired was doing what he was told at the time and that he was a threat, misfortunate yes but it wasn't like he kicked him to death. Thats all i was getting at.
