Well gmase, do you think they want you to decide if they are right or wrong? You Might decide the wrong way and then what?
Good point. They do not want me to be the arbiter and I should not be so pompous. Killing someone (a reporter - Jack Anderson - in Liddy’s case) seems a bit extreme though.

Newsmax’s Greg Kelly Rips ‘Attractive Blonde’ Capitol Cop That Rioters Knocked Unconscious: ‘In Other Words, You Fell’

Greg Kelly ripped U.S. Capitol Police officer Caroline Edwards as a “self-aggrandizing” and “attractive blonde” whose testimony revealed she merely “fell down” during the Capitol attack.

Edwards spoke during the Jan. 6 committee’s hearing about her experiences with rioters on Jan. 6. She was knocked unconscious
. The attack is on video (which you can view along with her full testimony here)
She also recounted how she slipped in blood and saw fellow officer Brian Sicknick, who appeared “ghostly pale.” Sicknick died a day later after suffering two strokes.

On Friday’s Greg Kelly Reports on Newsmax TV, the host was unimpressed by her story. He minimized her as handpicked cop who “hated Trump.”

Kelly said Edwards was selected to speak because she is an “attractive blonde”
who would be immune from criticism in the eyes of the committee.
“They think, well, we’ll bring in cops,” he said. “They can’t attack cops. Well, we’ll bring in an attractive blonde. I mean, It’s a woman.”

Kelly played a clip of Edwards’ testimony in which she described the hours she worked to protect lawmakers in extreme weather.
She comes off as somebody with a chip on her shoulder,” Kelly reacted. “This self-aggrandizing, you know, ‘I worked holidays, weekends,'” he said. “Well, you had a job to do. Yeah, you got paid and you’re being used.”

Kelly then aired a portion of Edwards interview in which she described how she was briefly knocked out during the riot. The host responded to the clip,
Okay, in other words, you fell. You had a fall. Gotcha. That’s a line-of-duty injury as well. A couple of hundred yards from you, Ashli Babbitt was being dragged backwards out of the Capitol as she was bleeding out, shot by one of your fellow officers, even though she was unarmed. Posed no threat to anyone. Ok? But you bumped your head. Got it. Got it. It got it.

Kelly then showed another portion of Edwards’ testimony in which she described how she was tear-gassed.
“Tear-gassed by your own guys, by the way, the police were using the tear gas,” he said.

He invoked crime surges in multiple cities and noted police officers have been targeted and attacked recently, Kelly depicted Edwards’ complaints as mild.

He concluded he understands why Edwards might have “issues” stemming from the riot, but he told her to direct them to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

I am in America, not of it.
In the same way that The Trumpistas don't want you deciding what they do they wouldn't mind if everyone voted, as long as they voted the right way. Jackasses refuse to do so though.

Trump Scammed Supporters Out of Over $250 Million for Nonexistent Fraud Fund
Supporters who thought they were donating to “election integrity” instead saw some of their money funneled to Trump hotels
https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-fundraising-scam-jan-6-hearing-1367359/

"The Trump campaign knew these claims of voter fraud were false, yet they continued to barrage small dollar donors with emails encouraging them to donate to something called the Official Election Defense Fund. The Select Committee discovered no such fund existed."

Very doubtful he'll ever get caught or indicted. He tends to keep this hands clean. Look what happened to the Border Wall fiasco.

Trump is like an eel being taken out of the ocean. He just keeps slipping away ...

Trump has a great PR machine. Each time we think he’s slipping, there he is again.

Definitely. He's the Anti-Velcro Man! - nothing sticks to him.

You have so many people sticking their necks out for him. His lawyers seem to get him out of everything. Look at what happened to Rudy Giuliani. The New York State Bar Association has censured Rudy. Though they haven't revoked his law license yet.

And so, Donald Trump doesn't care about anyone as long as his lawyers help to keep him three steps in front of the law. He's been doing it his entire life.

I would say it's because his audience would deny he ever slipt. They would either say it's not that bad or pretend he's doing/saying what no other politician would dare to do/say.
Then Fox stops taking about it (or only to blame Democrats for it or to pretend Dems going after him for that is witch-hunt), then the rest of the medias stop talking about it, then another scandal break up and everyone forgets about the previous.

Also, Dems are incredibly weak and often refuse to put him in serious shit as they should.

From the author of a new book on Watergate (celebrating the burglary’s 50th):

Q: What made the Trump years different than the Nixon years?
A: "Two things: Fox News, and members of Congress who acted as Republicans first and members of Congress second. That's it. I think if you had Fox News in the 1970s, Richard Nixon would have stepped down from office in January 1977 totally unscathed."

We all heard from Ms. Hutchinson in yesterday's testimony that ...

1. President Trump tried to grab the wheel of the armored SUV and wanted to go to Capitol to urge on his supporters. With his free hand he tried to choke his driver when told they weren't going to the Capitol.

2. Before that, an "irate" president then threw a plate of food at the wall and ketchup was dripping down the Oval Office wall when Attorney General William Barr said that he and the Justice Department didn't find any election fraud and that Trump's claims were false.

So we have an angry President prone to temper tantrums ...

.... in other words, a Big Cry Baby!

Won't happen, Trump and his family will never go to prison, even if they are proven guilty.
Trumps mafia and corrupt political connections will pressure, bribe, blackmail, etc., prosecutors and judges to fine ahole Trump and his family a few million dollars and give them a few years parole at most.

Also the timing of Ivana Trumps death is suspicious, it's going to give Trump and his kids some sympathy, and his kids will inherit their mothers money, about $100 million,
Wouldn't surprise me if ahole Trump had one of his mafia goons sneak in and 'push' Ivana down the stairs...
