Convicted criminal President Donald Trump's Legacy

Theopolis Q. Hossenffer

I am in America, not of it.
Somebody should go check on them to make sure they haven't overdosed on gigantic doses of copium. Or maybe they are hanging out with the QAnon and OAN people setting up a conspiracy wall with pictures and threads of yarn going everywhere trying to explain how Hugo Chavez, George Soros, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and mole people from the center of the Earth conspired the rig voting machines in Biden's favor.
Along those lines perhaps they are still out celebrating Trumps win and planning the inauguration for the smooth transition into Trumps second term?

It is a shame that trump supporters are such snowflakes. I don't recall any non-republicans fleeing to a safe space in 2016.

I've resorted to taking digs at them in the comments section on youtube just to scratch the itch. Might have to set up a parler account, but I'm a little worried someone might find out and think I'm one of them.

I was reading two articles recently. I forget the sources right now. Anybody have them?

There was a story coming out of the tax return issue that Donald Trump received a refund of $72.9 million in 2011 based on taking certain non-business expenses, pretty much personal expenses such as $70,000 in hair styling for himself and $100,000 in personal expenses for Ivanka that they funneled through the Trump Organization. Expenses that would be disallowed. Or they could be considered gifts with Ivanka's expenses. That is what the Service is auditing. If the final result comes back against him, he would be on the hook for close to over $110.2 million with penalties and interest on the civil charges. Along with an uncertain amount of gift tax liability on the back end. Then comes an IRS criminal investigation because of filing fraudulent tax returns. The Trump Organization corporate tax returns are apparently also being audited as well. Mazars, if they knew about any of this, would be charged with negligence penalties had they known about any of this when preparing the returns. Depends on what those work papers reveal.

Then there is the separate matter of the $421 million in loans that comes due in four years that he is personally liable and responsible for. No one knows who is owed this. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is questioning that it could be international in nature. Possibly to a foreign nation. Therefore it may become a government clearance issue. There is a major concern that President Trump could be putting the nation at risk because those creditors, especially if they are foreign businessmen or nations, could put undue influence on him. Therefore it would cause a potential national catastrophe.

I believe Trump nominated THREE Supreme Court Justices? That is why a coworker of mine voted for him in 2016. For those that did so - mission accomplished.

Otherwise, Trump's legacy was to display - hopefully - the worst (ever) of / how bad a "leader" can be..

So, just a few weeks after the great orange ballsack fired the head of the cyber and infrastructure agency for doing his job, the treasury and commerce departments were cyber attacked, according to intelligence dudes, by Russia. Things that make you go hmmm.

I guess the question is, did putin explicitly tell trump to soften up defenses, or did he just take advantage of the gift of gross incompetence and childish tantrum-throwing?

I think an important job for the new administration will be to come up with a mechanism for removing an incompetent and malevolent president who has the support of a malevolent senate, because this shit went too far quite a while back.

Currenly, Russians are known to have breached the departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, Treasury, Commerce, and Energy and its National Nuclear Security Administration — plus the National Institutes of Health.
The attack has been called an act of war by some, and according to the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, "poses a grave risk to the Federal Government and state, local, tribal, and territorial governments as well as critical infrastructure entities and other private sector organizations."

As usual, there has been crickets from trump. Apparently grabbing your ankles and backing up to Russia is what US patriots do now.

When Russia openly attacking the US in this way provokes zero response from the president, and it still doesn't cause the magat crowd to pull their tongues out of his asshole, then no amount of begging, pleading, or arguing will. These people are lost and should be treated as the enemies of the state that they are.

As the final 70 days of Trump's presidency unwind, it is time to begin thinking about his legacy. A fully-developed legacy takes time to evolve, but what are the early thoughts? No need to be all negative. There have to be some positives. 🤷‍♂️

The fact that Biden became president when Pennsylvania was called is fitting. James Buchanan - generally considered the worst president - is from Pennsylvania.

Trump's Presidency and the election can be discussed in the appropriate threads. This is about life after Trump.
There are no positives.
4 years of a low moral, pathological lying, tyrant coddling, half wit who screams for loyalty but never shows any,
Hopefully New York state will get their hands on this POS and put him in the hole before he can flee to Mother Russia.
Worst case is a Manchurian Candidate has been at the wheel for 4 years best case is a near bankrupt mobster used the American Government to try and make his "empire' solvent again at taxpayer expense.
All politicians are shady to a point but this guy is the lowest of the low fruit.

Do you want to know what President Trump's legacy will be?

Perjure yourself before Congress. Don't be truthful concerning your activities in the Russian investigation led by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller? Give false testimony to the Federal Bureau of Investigation? Be guilty of tax evasion?

No problem ...

Hot off the presses. Obtain your "Get out of jail free card" - he's dishing them out left and right!

What a fraud this President is.

P.S. - Michael Cohen? I don't think so. Remember whoever criticizes this guy, is no longer an ally.

I've seen it said that if you are pardoned for a crime, you can no longer use the fifth to protect against self-incrimination, which means that you can be compelled to give evidence. There's a theory floating around that all these pardons could backfire, because these people will have to choose between admitting to crimes they've already been pardoned for or potentially perjure themselves. If it plays out like everything else trump has tried to fuck the US it should backfire on him in a pretty entertaining way.

And in addition to that when you accept a pardon you are basically admitting guilt to what ever you are pardoned for. Might be an issue for future political office?
