This airplane was in the design phase just b 4 the war and Roosevelt told all the plane manufacturers to come clean on all secret planes in design to help the war effort and Howard Hughes gave this one up and made it public. It was fast and a large plane for its day holding 80 passengers. It was designed to fly across the us non stop.:drool2:
