Console or PC?

what the fuck you lookin at?
Your choice and why?

I prefer console cause you don't have to constantly spend money updating the damn thing! Every 7 - 10 years you buy the "next generation" of console and viola there's your update! Vs continually making sure your graphics and sound cards are up to the task of the latest games. Also they use up huge chunks of memory. And high end gaming PC's are very expensive!

I do both PC and 360. Which one I buy depends on the game. I can't play FPS games on the console so I get them for PC. Third person games I generally get for the 360.

However...since new games are now always 10 dollars more for the 360 than the PC...I've been leaning towards the PC.

Example: I'll be getting Dragon Age today after work.
360 - $59.99.
PC - $49.99.

I fucking hat mouse and keyboard controls,so I'll stick with console gaming.

Some games are best played with a controller and others with a mouse and keyboard. Just like only certain games should be made for the Wii (Has anyone ever tried to play a shooter on that before? I mean it fucking sucks!!!) Every kind of game just has it's own kind of fit when it comes to interface IMO.

only pc game i ever owned in my life was tiger woods 98 or some shit. I could never figure out why pc gamers say that a console controller doesnt work for shooters. Using a keyboard for a controller is downright uncomfortable. Also sports games on pc are kinda lame. Update the hardware for what? Crysis, and a few others? Thats just a couple games. Anything multiplatform like a call of duty looks fine on the consoles,no reason to update cards unless you wanna run shit like crysis or whatever.

depends on the game so i do both pc and console. and with console i dont stick with just one console, except i never play the wii, i let my gf play that shit, im just not into it.

but i see what you mean on buying the new console and bam, you're upgraded, legz. makes sense. but i get a new pc every year so the pc upgrade needs doesnt really apply to me, its perpetually updated. sadly i dont get to play much of anything these days, RL is fuckin up my VL, which is a good thing.

I like both for different reasons. The current PC games will always be ahead of what consoles can do simply because of advancements in Direct X and graphics cards while on the other hand console games tend to have better controls although you can get game pads for a PC. Consoles can also be easier yo use. It is just whatever I'm in the mood for.

Firstly the questions a little vague, what do you intend to do on it, that makes a huge difference to the choice.
PC - Miles more flexible, can do things consoles can only dream of. Can upgrade gradually so the hit is not quite so. Jack of all trades (master of none perhaps). Useful generally

Consoles - All standardised, nothing to install. Useful for games, browsing music, movies and not much else. So ideal for entertainment

This is the games section. I thought it was self explanatory.

I have at home a PS3, PS2, XBOX 360, Wii, NDS and a PSP3000, and of course, a PC. I still playing in my PC, why? probably i love mouse =) and games are more cheap on PCs (yes, i use originals one :) ).

PS2 is death, we know.
Wii, is nice the first 15 days, then you come back to play sitted.
PSP and NDS is nice to go beach or something, but not to play.
PS3 or XBOX 360, are great media centers :) and games are awesome, i use XBOX on fabled2 rpg, and something like that,
but when you try to play a shooter, a RPG, a mmorpg, there is nothing like a PC.

so, PC is more confortable to play.
