One of my most favorite comments is from that pig Michelle Bachman. She has been saying that it is her belief that the only good way to raise kids is with a mother and father in the same house. There's assholes on both sides, but this whole "socialist" thing is ridiculous. Obama, Clinton, etc. are all strong free-market capitalists just like their counterparts to the right of center. The main difference is the people slightly left-of-center preach "social responsibility" instead of the mantra of "cutting taxes and de-regulation". At the end of the day, they're all primarily about protecting the wealth of those at the top, with the lefties slightly less so.

One could just as easily say that the "Conservative" values (and I use quotes because these people are actually extremely radical in terms of trying to claw back the advances of the last century) is a system that breeds economic collapse.

See what I did there? It's all just rhetoric and spin, but at the end of the day, it's working people who are getting the shaft, from the right as well as the from the left, because at the end of the day, it's all rich people making the rules.

Not really. Had the banks been given a little oversight and regulation the economic collapse would most likely not have happened. The Democrat dream of "everyone should own a home" is socialist, unrealistic and ultimately led to the likes of Lehman Bros. preying on those who never be able to pay the loans back.

Free market capitalists??? What is "free-market capitalist" about either Clinton, Obama, Bush or HW Bush (etc.)? Printing money to bail out failed banks and corporations is now free-market? Keynesian economic policy is now free-market?

Obama's neither socialist nor free-market capitalist. He's a corporatist who was bought by Wall Street and the Joint Chiefs. Just like nearly every other president from the last 100 years. Claiming that either he or this economy is free-market is fucking absurd.

What free-market has "open" trade with Mexico and China, yet dictates the minimal wage in Haiti and tells them who they can accept oil from? The US economy is as rigged, manipulated and adjusted as a Rube Goldberg device.
