I have looked on-line but am still a bit confused about something...I have a few .rar files and would like to open them....winzip doesnt work and when i open them...realplayer starts...what am i doing wrong?...any help would be appreciated....thanks!

you can download WinRAR here (then scroll down the page a bit)

as for it opening in RealPlayer, it sounds like you have selected all .rar files to open with RealPlayer, to change this right click on the file and select "open with" and choose to open with WinRAR (after downloading it)
