Reminds me of the very different solutions for giving the astronauts (Kosmonauts) a way to scribble down notes in the space stations.
The USA developed a ball pen that is able to write overhead
The Russians just packed up some basic pencils
Yeah, but lets face it, the U.S. HAD to develop that pen, to prove we could spend record amounts of money, on a pen.
