Benjamin Franklin wasn't President. I don't think I have a favorite President of all time. There are Presidents that I like and admire but none are my favorites.

wrong, he paid the price for freeing the slaves. Something the south would have eventually done on their own. He should have stayed the fuck out of it!

Actually John Wilkes Booth was only going to kidnap Lincoln and exchange him for captured Confederate soldiers. When Lincoln made a speech about giving emancipated slaves the right to vote, that is when Booth's kidnapping plot became an assassination plot.:hatsoff:

You can acquire a new nationality but this does not lose your original one.He was born British as was George Washington.
