It is. They said its "all free to play just put in the time", "not pay to win".

I have not played C&C since Kanes Wraith on 360 which took some getting used to for console version but it was fun for the most part. Stopped after trying RA3 was not liking the controls by this point.

Yes many hours were played with Red Alert and RA2
I mostly played with the Counterstrike and Aftermath addons.

I was just reminded by a buddy how we used to edit the .ini files to shoot out ****** dogs from the soldiers guns or even tesla bolts and tried out many other sorts of changes with the game.

Red Alert, Counterstrike and Aftermath were the ****! Red Alert 2 saw much of my *********, alongside StarCraft and Diablo II. Generals was also fantastic. Never got around to RA3 though...gotta take on real world responsibilities at some time I suppose
