I'm also sickened by the same fiscal hypocrisy of GOP leaders that Mr. Colbert is sick of and I hope he gets well soon :glugglug:

Republicans show their Tea Party base that they're against raising the debt ceiling, while reassuring Wall Street that it's political theater.

How true. I've heard on the news some of the Reps saying that we will not default if we don't raise the limit. That is a lie. No matter how you carve it up, if you don't raise the limit, you're going to come up $130-140B short in August. So, you could pay all of your debts, but not meet other obligations...like military payroll...is that a road we want to travel down?

It gets ugly if we don't raise it.

Also, Obama stated that he didn't know how much money we had. That is a lie too.

There is a win out there, but I'm not impressed with anyone in the game at the moment.
