Mommy would run down to the corner soda shop years back and get Coca Cola syrup when needed. You may still find it at a ******** today.

Really? I've often found ****, rather than just the syrup effective. Guess I'm lucky :dunno:

I'm pretty sure this topic has been debated to death on another thread, but might as well as add my 1.5 cents Canadian.

**** will always beat Pepsi. In any poll, any taste test, any competition. Pepsi may have better ads sometimes, but over 2/3 of North America chooses ****. I can't ***** regular **** anymore, it's too sweet. But the best cola I've ever had......ever.....is Cherry **** Zero. That stuff is like crack!!! And we can't even get it in Canada. I can always tell when some waitress tries to bring me a Pepsi, it's like a watered down ****. I usually switch to 7UP or Root ****. And Diet Pepsi is just water with bubbles...

(One of the benefits of the supposed "problem" we have around here with immigrants is the fact that some stores stock it.)

I like them both and at restaurants I take whatever they offer me. But, if I'm at the store to buy some pop I choose Coca-Cola. I did have some nice Pepsi out of a 2 liter beverage container with my supper tonight.

I don't think I've ever known anyone that prefers Pepsi. I'll ***** a Pepsi every now and then just to remind myself why I don't ***** Pepsi. I'll buy ****, DrPepper, RC Cola, or just about any store brand before I buy Pepsi. If I had to choose between Pepsi and Shasta, that would be a hard call, probably get tea. :1orglaugh

When I was a *** I was influenced by the Pepsi Challenge and always wanted Pepsi. Pepsi at the time was also the official soda pop of the Los Angeles Dodgers who I was and still am a fan of. Probably sometime in my teen years is when I switched to Coca-Cola although I hated New **** whenever that crap came out.
