Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell

Does anyone know if classic Coast to Coast AM episodes are available anywhere? The show used to be replayed on an obscure little AM station when I was in college, but now it's not being played anywhere that I know of. The show has been taken over by two new hosts since Art Bell retired. They're offering some of the classic episodes on a rotating basis, but for a $30/month fee. Anybody know of a regular radio station I can stream the show from, or something like that? I really loved that show, and it's a shame they're not offering the classic episodes for free...if I'd known, I would've recorded it while I could. :(

I've looked all over the place without much success. I didn't really get into the show until George Noori took over with Art doing Saturday nights. Art Bell's Saturday night shows were my favourites... now they've got Ian Punnet, of whom I'm not a huge fan.

The only thing I can think of is using BitTorrent or newsgroups to try downloading classic shows. I doubt any radio station would have them. My local radio station plays the previous night's shows from 9pm to 1am, then switches to the current show from 1am to 5am (since I'm in the Eastern time zone).

I actually haven't been able to find the show AT ALL on Ottawa airwaves now that I've moved.

So, sorry I can't help ya, but if you find anything could you PLEASE let me know? I think BitTorrent would be your best option unless you can somehow find a newsgroup subscription (they're hard to come by).

I couldn't find anything, either, which is a shame.

I LOVED listening to him.

I miss that guy.

here's a site that will help you find a streaming station in your area
http://www.coaststream.com/
but you will only get the current program in real time. some stations will play classic art bell episodes on weekends.

good luck, and stay weird.
