You need to do a lot of research and you will find the truth and there are and have always been conspiracies.
Garrisonjj, You can't blame anyone but the people who do the things they do. It's like blaming the police for the actions of criminals.

Don't you have to sort of, blame yourself for your previous orthodoxy ?
I know tons of people "of faith" that don't allow their religion take over their lives. Catholics, Christians, Baptists, 7th Day Adventists, Masons (shhh ! Don't tell Will E. Worm that I am associated with any Mason(s) :tongue:, Jews, you name it. They're of faith, so to speak, but you'd never know it. They never speak of nor preach their religion, they don't go to church every Sunday or Synagogue on Saturday, as the case may be. What they are more than likely to do is - curse, drink, do drugs and wuuuuuu ! even have sex outside of marriage !:shock:
Funny story - There was and still is an all girls Catholic High School about a 1/2 of a mile from the H.S. that I graduated from, well, guess which school had (and in all likelihood still does) the horniest girls in the valley ? You got it ! .......Fallen :angels:s are the nastiest !
Truth is, most western culture people "of faith" accept their religion but do so only in the background, if you will. They don't wear their religion on their sleeve, nor do they wake in the Am with prayer and think about God all day long, Sheeesh ! The radical - activist atheist community is legendary for propagandizing the idea that any speckle of a religious belief is a form of gross extremism & yadda yadda. Seriously, who follows their religion to the T and imposes their belief system upon other bystanders ? You'd have to be a miserable SOB to do so.
I must say though, I get so miserably tired of seeing religion bash that I wanna put another :o hole in the drywall. Not for my sake, but for the sake of those around me, family and friends, people that I love, who might be somewhat adherent (but not over zealously) to a particular faith. It's as if they're kinda gettin steam rolled.
To each their own ~ live and let live, but be prepared to accept personal accountability when the results of your decision go awry.

I don't believe in God but I think that Jesus was a cool dude who spent much of his time whoreing and wenching in taverns with other drunks and junkies. He was probably also prone to consentual sex with other men in the same establishments. God hates fags? He probably wore a t-shirt saying "God Creates Fags!" And he didn't mind sharing out the wine either.

I hate to break it to everybody, but porn isn't exactly doing too well lately either. There is less money to go around in it than in a long time, a lot of people have been eliminated or companies have gone under, and almost everybody in it is taking less money than they were years ago, and it's not just due to the economy in general. The only difference is that there always seems to be a good supply of porn because you can give any chimp a camera and create it. Porn has also seemed to hit it's wall for the time being in mainstreamness. It might have gotten more mainstream in the last 20 years, due to VHS and the Internet, but it seems to really struggle to get any further. I don't see it going to much further in the near future and rightfully so, there is too much wrong with porn and the way it's run.
As far as religion goes, it's not so much that it's falling. It's just getting less organized, controlling, and stupid as time goes on. Large organized religious groups do not totally encompass what religion and spiritual belief is. Spiritual belief is far from being in danger of disappearing.

You dont need some conspiracy movie to tell you that the bible was basically cobbled together in a rush by a bunch of crazy men a few hundred years ago, it should be pretty simple to work out to every thinking person on here that the entire consept of religion is to control people and to make as much money off those people as possible.
I wouldnt call myself an athiest, I would call myself an anti-theist and where money is the root of all evil, religion isnt far behind in second place and the closure of as many churches as possible in my eyes can only be a good thing, this means that people are finally opening their eyes to the lie. Maybe they'll start to live their lives and live them they way they should be lived in the knowledge that this is all there is and in that knowledge they should cherish every single minute of what they have, no one should waste their life waiting for death just because if they have followed the word of the lord they are going to paradise, how is that a life for anyone? It makes you feel sad.
But I'm open to opposition, what if I am wrong? I go to hell well hell, isnt that correct? Well to me hell always seemed like a much more interesting place to spend eternity anyway.

Who saw the film "Idiocracy?" Everyone it seems is sitting at home turbating. And audiences sit in theatres watching asses. Just asses, filling the screen. And they all think it hilarious. I hope we aren't headed that way. No more church, just asses.
Religion is dying very slowly simply cause religions are (finally) losing their influence in both the public and governments in secular countries like the UK, the US, Austrailia, Canada, etc. To me religions are myths pure and simple, there is no proof at all that all the stuff in holy books actually happened. I use these words when it comes to relgiion but all some other things too "No Proof, No Truth".
The Porn industry is currently in trouble too with what is happening with the world's economy since it is effecting every industry out there, porn will recover when this financial crisis ends, of course I imagine all the anti-porn groups out there are happy that porn is also being affected by the financial crisis (well at least religions are also effected by it too consdering that religion is the ultimate money sucker).
Maybe once it is over then all porn pay sites should use payment providers that accepts all types of debit cards from around the world instead of using ones that only accept credit cards, that may help them a little bit of if there is a pay agent that accepts all types of debit cards around the world and one that accepts porn or anything to do with sex (as long as it's legal anyway).
