All I'm saying is, I believe in the right to get married regardless of gender and I also believe in the right to eat a yummy chicken sandwich if I want to.. If 10 of my dollars goes to anti gay groups then so be it, because I also utilize just as many if not more pro gay rights companies like target etc..

In my opinion, I find the way Chick fil A gives its money to organisations that perpetrate hate incredibly repugnant.

And I'll do everything in my power to fight to allow them to continue doing exactly what they want. It's a private company. I hate them, yup. I have for years. I don't buy their food, but that's because I buy virtually no fast food (with the exception of fries for my son, who thinks it is the greatest treat in the world to get fries). They are entitled to distribute money as they see fit.

That said, they do have to be accountable for their actions. If certain members of the population decide to boycott their food because of their stated views/goals, I hope Chick fil A will be first in line to support the rights of the people that oppose them. Otherwise, they're incredibly hypocritical.

I agree with you on everything I just think that retaliating is useless.. By having a same sex kiss day your demonstrating that you're just as immature as the bigots your fighting.. Don't go to chick fil a, tell all your friends not to go to chick fil a but don't go and make a mockery of the whole same sex community by kissing each other on ther property.. Like really?

Okay so I'm sure many of you have heard about the whole "chick fil a/ gay rights" crap that has been circling the media lately. Well it's frustrating me to the point of no end and I really feel like I need to get my opinion out..

Give me a break guys. Honestly. Who are you to tell people their opinion is wrong or what they do with their money is wrong, it's their prerogative! Whether you think their opinion is right or not is irrelevant. You are gay and you want to get married? Awesome! Go donate to that cause! Open a gay friendly chicken restaurant with a rainbow fuckin chicken mascot! You have that right! So does chick fil a. They choose to voice their opinion and that's not okay but it's okay for you to go and essentially bully their restaurant? "National Same Sex Kiss Day"?? Give me a fuckin break here people, YOU ARE THE ONES ISOLATING YOURSELVES!! Honestly, there is no "national kiss a straight person day" is there? NO! Do you know why? Because kissing a straight person is not out of the ordinary, and guess what! Neither is kissing a gay person! So why do we need to create a day all about it? It's nothing special.. It's just like Black history month.*
Black people, white people, Asian, gay people, we're all the motherfucking same! Morgan Freeman said it best: "I don't want a Black History Month. Black history is American history."
Just like you shouldn't want a "same sex kiss day" because then you're saying that every day shouldn't be same sex kiss day.. You're doing nothing to help your cause by showing that you are obviously just as closed minded as the people who don't believe in gay rights.*

For the record: I believe 100% that gay people should be able to get married but I also believe that we should not condemn somebody for what they believe or choose to support.*

I saw a self-shot video on Youtube today of some chickenshit asshole who drove thru a Chik-Fil-A, ordered a free water, then when he got to the window, harangued the poor woman working there about how Chik-Fil-A is anti-gay, and isn't she ashamed of it, etc etc. He was a real douchebag about it too. The woman was as sweet as pie, gave him his free large cup of water, and he said he was glad he got his free water because it cost Chik-Fil-A money, and that was less money that they could send to anti-gay groups. He then said he felt good about himself for doing this. The woman just kept saying nice things to him while he berated her.

Are you fucking kidding me? This is the level of political discourse in this nation? We are picketing fast food joints because the CEO donates money to religious groups?

We are so fucked as a country. We are a great nation, the greatest nation this planet has ever seen, but we are fucking it up over stupid crap.
