Scribblenauts
I heard about this game called Scribblenauts on the DS. The graphics ain't that, but it's the concept that blows my mind. The game itself is a simple 2d platformer but when you come up against obstacles you have to write the name of the object that you want to use to get around the obstacle, and it appears.
Apparently the game recognises a lot of words (and I mean a lot) I read a review of the game that said "We never really expected 'Hitler' to work but being told we could have a 'howitzer' instead is a hell of a consolation prize'.
One of the reaons I'm so excited about this game is that it won several 'Best-In-Show" awards at the E3 games show. And I love it when the technically inferior games **** on the cutting edge of gaming.
What's your opinions of it?
It looks like a **** game, and it probably is. But bear in mind you need to complete each level 3 times without repeating the object you've written. Personally, I can't wait.
