The E3 demo for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow starts in the rainy village from recent trailers, where Gabriel has come to find leads regarding whereabouts of a powerful entity with answers to haunting questions. As Gabriel rides up on his horse, he sees a number of villagers leaving the town; once Gabriel enters the village square, he finds out why, as waves of werewolves attack.

I see Leggy and his friends make an appearance in the game. Beyond that this game looks awesome! I love the Castlevania series.

There were 2 or 3 Castlevania games for both the PS2 and Xbox.

Yeah I really hope this turns out good, the DS ones were great, but the other 3D ones weren't on the same level at all.

It's being made by Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid) so it is definitely promising but it looks like it is very much a God of War ripoff

I'm seeing where Hideo Kojima is just the executive producer.

I guess you're right. I thought he was directing it or something. Well I'm glad he's not completely in charge of it, or it would probably be 37 hours of cutscenes and 24 minutes of actually getting to play the game

I haven't played a castlevania game in decades. I got the konami classics from gamefly and gave that castlevania a try, but quickly lost interest. However this looks promising! I do enjoy a good hack-n-slash game!!!

That is what I like about Castlevania Curse of Darkness for Xbox. Making weapons, evolving my beasts in multiple ways, and just general hack and slash. A nice break from a serious linear game.

If you guys haven't played Symphony of the Night or the DS or GBA ones they're all spectacular. Also, even if it resembles God of War gameplay wise, the story will probably be MUCH better, God of War 2 and 3 were such let downs as far as plot goes.

You are absolutely right sir. This game was easier than all the others, but it will always hold a special place with me as my favorite Castlevania.
