I think that this could possibly be a reason Playboy's being financially hurt. It was a helluva great marketing event whenever any celebrity who didn't need to, because they were on the upside of fame, would strip for the magazine. One other reason: How soon scanned copies of Playboy photos are perceived to appear online.

totally agree- especially "for the faded and old"...

so I guess in about 15-20 years we will get a Lindsey Lohan Playboy spread-

and it will be a relative yawner (just like this Carol Alt one was- big deal).
