Candles or Torches Which Offers the Best Light?

I often wonder that, I am debating on replacing the candles in my bedroom with wall sconces and torches, what do you suggest?

Line the walls with Fleshlights.

Ever tried Lanterns? I have two and they offer the possibility of using different candles, and so on. Or oil lamps, with them you can pull out the wick more or less, and use different oils, scented, too

Light the desk on fire. I find it creates a pleasing light AND makes the room nice and warm.

They're greener and the fire dept won't have to find crispy critters in the back bedroom.
