First one that came to mind for me was.....

Blatantly stupid? "And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead" is ridiculous. For a start, it's a lame attempt to sound menacing. Secondly, it's not like it abbreviates easily. AYWKUBTTOD. Thirdly, you'd just feel stupid saying it, wouldn't you? "Yeah, I'm a big fan of And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead." Sure. I'm guessing their fans just call them "Trail" in conversation.

Outlandish? I think "Cancer Bats" is pretty tasteless. But if we're suggesting that there are people that would find "Butthole Surfers" outlandish or offensive, I think they'd probably wince at "Pussy Riot" too.

I'd have said "DVDA" as well, but the prudes aren't going to know what that means.
