I was always curious about this---

Can a regular guy go to a porn set, invited by someone, somehow, and not be in the biz. The guy would just sit in the back, out of the way and watch and snap some still pix if allowed?

Seems like it would be an interesting thing to see. I've seen a few mainstream movies filmed this way.

It all depends on the people you know and the friends you have in the industry. I'm sure occasionally there are also some of those people that are also giving lame ass jobs that aren't necessary to give them an excuse to be there and to also make them technically not a "regular guy" anymore.

As far as snapping pictures that might be a little harder. Porners aren't really big on giving away something that might bring them money somehow, unless there is some advantage in it for them.

Actually I just talked to one of my clients at the XBiz Awards on Thursday and he is working on just that.

It would be open to 100-300 guys depending on the size of the set and each would purchase a ticket to watch the filming.
