In its most basic form, you might say it's like a thong with the waistband pulled up over the wearer's shoulders (without the painful "atomic wedgie" effect). Indulge me, if you will, as I describe what it might look like if our drop-dead gorgeous Faith were to put one on:

Just above every man's fantasy, it might form a slight "V" as it splits into two straps again. Just like my wife, among countless other women, what you think will reflect negatively on your figure, we men totally go nuts for. I've seen some not-so-thin women (e.g., Nadine Jansen) don the slingsuit, and utterly be lusted after like never before by men (myself included).
Beyond the lust factor, I consider the slingsuit to be -- sexually speaking -- one of the most ideal suits for mammary intercourse ("tit-fucking"), so that drives an added enticement for myself.

Faith, there's no way in the universe you could ever look like Borat. I don't think you fully understand just how gorgeous you are.
