what is up with budweiser selling out?

Dunno, but I dont see them being "The Great American Lager" any longer seeing as they got taken over by a Belgian company.

What's up with it? It's called "cashing out". It's no different than Miller being bought by SAB or Coors' merger with Molson. Nothing will change as far as they way the **** is made or where it is made. Big fuss about nothing although it makes me nervous to see so much foreign money having controlling interest in large American corporations. The global trend toward consolidation in almost every industry seems to be unstoppable.

It seems strange to see Budweiser ads still on tv and all the "tradition" and "******" messages in the ads...

InBev might drop the "King of Beers" line...I know the Belgians didn't like that line and there was a copyright infringement case in Europe over the use of "Budweiser"...who owned it, A-B or Belgium??

i still think its pretty shitty they have to " cash out" to a foreign company,
Budweiser was the reason i started drinking **** in the first place

Yeah hear about this its a shame that they had to do that.

Other than the fact it is once again a foreign corporation buying up an American company, I don't see what the big fuss is all about. Do some research and it might really surprised to see how much foreign ownership there is of "American" companies that you might never suspect. It's just business, that's all.

Hmmm .. I think of all the 'Irish' companies - Guinness, the Irish **** - that are owned by 'foreign' companies. Why do Americans get up tight about this stuff when the rest of the world is so used to it. Global money has nothing to do with national boundaries.

I do not drink but I am told that Budweiser is very poor ****, while the Czechs make really good ****. Maybe it will improve?
