Just got Caprica from Netflix and watched it last night. I gotta say, that is one hell of a pilot episode. As good as the BSG pilot, IMO. The cast and characters are strong (with a few exceptions... Lacy and Sam Adama need some work if they're going to be anything more than side characters). The premise is rock solid, and succeeds at both standing on its own and connecting with BSG. Yeah, there's a lot of the religion-talk that turned off some people, but I appreciate a show that's not afraid to tread on some toes to discuss a relevant cultural issue. Comments/thoughts from anyone who's seen it?
