LOS ANGELES - From "Crossroads" to dirt roads, Britney Spears could very well be the next Daisy Duke.

The 21-year-old recording artist and actress has been mentioned as one possibility to play the short-shorts-wearing character in "The Dukes of Hazzard," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Warner Bros. is still preparing the big-screen version of the good-ol'-boy hit TV series that ran from 1979 through 1985. Ashton Kutcher (news) of MTV's "Punk'd" and Fox's "That 70s Show has expressed interest in the role of Bo Duke.

Wish I had the link to a story that discussed how Britany knows squat about music - if she wasn't a skank people would actually have to listen to her sing; how terrible would that be? Yes, Kay was one of a kind. She's one of my all-time faves, and as we share the same name, became the obvious choice for my avatar . Sorry I can't help with your request - I don't normally download videos, except off Kazaa. There's plenty of Kay's pics and vids available there, but I bet you already know that. If you find any of her videos I'd like to know, however. I may not download vids as a rule but I'd make an exception in her case. BTW, are you sure about that link you posted, I couldn't get it to work.
