Didn't see a thread on this, so let's start one.
I didn't take an opinion on this initially, and figured it would be left to the international representatives to sort out the facts and distortions. Where, when, how, it can all be a came of viewpoint, politics, etc..., which each side claiming innocence or right with countless "evidence."
But that's before Iran started acting like ********. They have started a political game by clearly prompting admissions (sometimes the prompter is even audible!). Then they turn around and claim Britain's actions are causing the issue. WTF?
So I didn't blame the UK one bit after that non-sense started by referring the matter to the UN Security Council. Sorry Iran, 15 nations agreed, no one abstaining, that you're acting like ******** here. You might be trying to score points with your own people, but the international community is quickly getting tired of it.
After all, you didn't seize British soldiers acting as allegedly "******* invaders" of Iraq like you claim. You seized those who were authorized and implementing a UN resolution, separate from the whole US-UK (and its 42 allies) invasion. You could have been responsible, and had some footing, but you wanted to act like ********.
Rhetoric only goes so far. I have to agree with the Brits here, "WTF are you hoping to accomplish on the world stage?"
