I'd say it just about is since systematically big names have been leaving contract to do more work. Nikki Benz is flying solo completely, Krystal Steal I think is too, and there's a lot of others who have just been building off their own name by getting out there and having their own company (Sara Jay, Sasha Grey unless she's under contract by someone feel free to correct, to name a couple.) I think that's mostly due to the boom of the internet and how that's the primary source of porn, subsequently giving more attention to the gonzo sites than the bigger companies like Vivid and Adam & Eve.
