Breasts and You

I was just curious as to what you guys thought of breasts; actually, much more specifically, why you think we (as guys) like 'em. After all, they have little to do with sex (except when we make them), so why are we so attracted to them?

I've got a few ideas of my own on the subject, but I wanted to hear some others.

Anyone who's ever read anything about/by Sigmund Freud and a handful or 100 other psychologists/theorists will tell you the same thing. Straight men in many countries sexualize the female breast (that's right, men have breasts too) because it's symbolic of nurturing, it's soft, warm, very "cuddleworthy," and also because we heterosexual men don't have the same type of breasts ourselves, so we're fascinated by them.

I personally think Sigmund Freud was on crack when he came up with half his theories. Unless you also think men secretly want to get pregnant, and women have penis envy also.

It is just like trying to psychoanalyze your dreams; sometimes you have to concede that there really isn't a deeper meaning to some of them.

i have read that we find them attractive because they remind us of arses. in earlyier stages of evolution humans saw arses as being attractive because we were only capable of rear entry intercourse. as frontal intercourse has become more dominant breasts have become the focus of sexual attraction.
i think thats the anthropological apprach. personally i prefer that to freud. i think he was simply trying to justify his own perversions.

They have little to do with sex.I disagree with this comment,I think they play there part as much as the rest of the woman they belong too.

like i said...Oedipus complex...competing against the father, subconsciously, for mother's affection resulting in the identification with the father. Hence the term "like father, like son", hence the mother fucking. Also, subconsciously, men seek mates to provide nurishment for young. Big hips/ass= child bearing. large breasts = food for children.
