Brazilians aren't considered Latinos, why?

Really? Then it's probably because you aren't one.

What's wrong with it is that it is a term invented by "white" people and not what "black" people call(ed) themselves. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want the people that enslaved my people to tell me who I was.

There's nothing offensive about the word itself, other than it is a fairly useless way of categorizing people. What's the point in classifying people by a vague physical description that doesn't take into account genetics and ancestry, geographic location, culture and language?

Much like Europeans who weren't united as the "White Race" until a few hundred years ago, Africans never thought of themselves as one group of people. A group of people who lived 20 miles away could be thought of as just as different as someone who lived 2,000.

As for the topic discussion, it was stated right from the start. The Census Bureau (incorrectly) considers Latinos as Hispanics, and thus why Brazil is not one. It would seem to be political because their aim is apparently to separate Hispanics from the rest of the population when it comes to classifying them.

How do you have any credibility to speak on White people when you've been caught pretending to be a White female pornstar who disparages white men and talks about how much she loves black men.

You're the typical racist weirdo who has developed a fetish for white women out of your hatred for white men. Folks like you denounce those whom you call oppressors, but your actions give you away. You want to be an oppressor yourself and you fetishize "the enemy's women." Unfortunately, it's a common theme in human males. It's seen extensively in the Arab world, India/Pakistan border areas, Bosnia, Japan, China and is/was a common theme in how some Asian American and African American men fetishize white women and some white men have fetishized Asian women.

I'm just glad that people are starting to point you freaks out and write books/blogs about it.

I had a stripper once tell me she didn't consider me white because I'm half Italian. She was being complementary. Is it really that bad to be white?

No but there are a quite a few ignorant people out there. I remember overhearing someone say that Kim Kardashian is Latino because she's half Armenian.

Not only did I not know that I was caught pretending to be a white hating, black male loving, female pornstar, but I wasn't even aware that I had been doing so in the first place.

:confused:Who knew?

Apparently the guy who wrote a book about me. Can you tell me the title and author, I'd love to read it.

he may of done those things in the past, maybe not i don't nor do i care but nonetheless as a black person myself he was pretty on target with his post.

I personally don't have a problem with the word itself but the word has been perverted by white people throughout American history that when you hear someone say it you pretty much know their intent is not a friendly one. I don't mean to sound like some bitter black guy but its hard to argue with what the man said.

And also regarding Africans not seeing themselves as one group of people....I think a lot of them STILL don't see themselves as one group of people. If you ask a portuguese person if they are the same as spanish people they will say no. So its no difference for lets say a Algerian to an Egyptian or a Nigerian to an Ivorian or Kenyan to a South African.
