I'm in the same coffee shop by my work just about every day and after an employee pointed it out I realized that I am just about the only adult when I'm there that says "please" and "thank you" when I order. So many people seem entitled to good service, that it is a right and not something one should deserve through their good attitude.

Just a couple weeks ago I calmly confronted a guy who put a door ding in my girlfriend's car. All I wanted was for him to apologize to her but he absolutely refused to take responsibility despite me showing exactly where his door hit. I was absolutely livid when there was nothing I could do and it was a situation so easily forgiven with an apology.

I would find out the why first. Has she always been against swallowing? And if so why try and change her? she may never come around. If it is taste or something...play with food and make it fun! flavored lotions, whip cream, chocolate.... it could be really fun and make it more desirable for her? Structure Equals Efficiency and More Naked Time


Amazing the things that go through your head when you are ****** to have down time. I am not very good at relaxing….this is not news. I have always known the importance of it of course but have never been good at heading the advice. I had a tonsillectomy this past Tuesday Morning. I am only 15 years late in doing it (yes I am a procrastinator) but it has been done and I am grateful. Because of my hamster wheel approach to life I managed to talk myself out of every opportunity to get this surgery done convincing myself I did not have 2 weeks to recover. I do not think I ever believed people when they told me two weeks but it made for a very good reason why not to have it done. I did not have 2 weeks to take off. I was sure of it. Now at the tender age of 38 it was high time I stopped the insanity. I have had serious issues with strep throat over the past 10-15 years. 6-7 episodes a year is far too many and the antibiotics to go with…uggggh. 2 weeks of recovery will be nothing at the end of the day when all that time being ill is over. I have a few friends that in their 30's had this procedure done and were ore than grateful. I have to admit I have a very high tolerance to pain but this has been a more than unique experience. The first day was uncomfortable but nothing more. They warned me that days 4-9 were the worst but then you are pretty much in the clear. I would have to say that was a very true statement on their part. My real pain started on day 3. It was literally good minutes and bad minutes. Sometimes the pain is so intense I can not swallow and when I do I tear up. Other times I feel very little pain. The anti-inflammatory and pain killers really help but there are hours when nothing seems to gives comfort other than the knowledge that I am half way through this.

I have had a great deal of time however to get organized, something I talk a lot about but rarely actually DO! LOL. I act often as though I am really good at handling chaos. ANd I am….the problem is I am not as efficient as I could been when in chaos. When structured I am insane. I have a lot I want to accomplish and many awesome new projects on the table so structure is going to be key. I have found in the sat that when I am on a pretty strike schedule, I actually have more free time AND get much more work done. I have no idea why I struggle so hard to stick to schedules but I have learned they definitely work. I will let you guys be the judge of that however:) You will see more consistent updates (I know I have a ton but you will see a more regular updates and diary enteries.) I will have a more set members only as well as live cam time schedules. I have every intention of having this new lifestyle in place and operating smoothly long before January 1st so as to not be teased about resolutions *wink*

I hope you guys have a great weekend. I am through the worst of my recovery ( I believe ) and look forward to being back on cam in in full swing ( yes pun intended ) by mid next week. I can not tell you how bad I am itching to get back in the gym. It is amazing how weak the body gets and how quickly when ****** to sit on your ass. Thankfully muscle has amazing memory and I intend to remind my body adroitly just how good that memory is:) Thank you all for the thoughtful gifts and kind words during my recovery. It has meant a ton to me and I truly appreciate you.

I'm glad you did the right thing. I like to think I'm invincible and avoid the doctor at all costs. That kind of misery and being on antibiotics so often is just sad.
