Bradford to return!

Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford to return next season!

Thats right Texas! Not sure what date, but mark it down!

Boomer Sooner!!!

Beat Texas!!!

Sorry, thought Bradford UK had briefly left the country for a while then. Especialy after the slating in the worst city thread on here. You know, getting a tan or something, and the city was heading home via duty free and passport control.

Not got a clue what above is on about. Football?? Baseball??? Professional tidily-winks??

Beat Texas? Hell, aren't you still licking your wounds from all those Gator chomps?

If I was a Sooner (thank GOD I'm not!), I'd be keeping a pretty low profile for just a bit.

Pretty rough being a Sooner these days. That BCS record of 0-5.

I was rooting for them though!

I have to be honest and say this is a dumb decision. The Sooners aren't a Top5 team even with him next year. This year's draft is PRIME with teams needing QBs and not many good ones out there....

He clearly didn't seek out the opinion of a financial advisor....

Maybe, but he didn't have a very good game against Florida. It seems that the guys that play well in that last game raise their stock in the draft, thus earning some extra millions. If I had to guess, that's what he is attempting. Although, it didn't work out so well for Leinart!

Well, after you lose a couple national championships, followed by an epic lose to Boise St, then get blown out by West Virginia. A defeat by the Gators really isnt that bad.

I also have to admit that i havent been wearing my sooner hat as much lately. Out of all the teams in college football we had to play UF.

okla is losing 4 linemen this year...their te is returning too, along with all the rbs...idk okla just looks like they got the same team without the 4 linemen...meaning they aint going to win the championship...gators are returning mostly all their guys, same goes for texas...that *** from usc, says he's declaring for the draft

I dont know about that! I admit, we will be losing our two best WR, but we will have 3 top notch RBs(including a 5 star HS prospect). I do think the OU players got together and talked about it because, TE Jermaine Gresham(1st round prospect), OT Trent Williams(1-2 round prospect), DT Greald McCoy(top 10 prospect and defensive player of year), are all returning.

not hating but, is that going to be enough to overcome texas and florida? i dont think so

Also, our defense will be better including maybe one the best LB in the country Ryan Reynolds and DT Jermarcus Granger(both didnt play in NC). We may not be as good offensivly, but it will still be great.

We only have to worry about one team next year and thats Texas. I think we play Miami too, but we should beat them. I dont think it too crazy to say we can get to the National Championship game.

Part of me also wonders if some players, like Bradford and Taylor Mays, think that NFL teams won't be able to pay Rookies as much as they have in recent years so maybe some of these underclassman aren't deciding to sit it out and wait for next year's draft and for better financial climate.

I think OU and USC both lose a lot on Defense. I'm putting USC in Preseason #3 spot based on Dirty Sanchez returning. It actually looks like he's heading to the draft and though I do think Mitch Mustain is a capable starting Qb...I might be moving SC back to #5...

:rofl2:

But yeah, It doesn't matter if Bradford returns or not... because Tebow is returning as well. So add a second Heisman and a third BCS Championship and he will be the most decorated college player of all time then go on to rule the world with kindness.

Not to mention, the SEC's fourth consecutive National Championship... which has never been done.

I think that is a big part of it! If the commish had to release a statement saying there was not going to be a rookie cap after next season, it had to be a serious factor in their decision-making process!
