Senator Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand co-sponsored a bill that would make any attempt by Americans to boycott Israel a felony, with a maximum 20 year sentence. Critics of the Anti-Israel Boycott Act are arguing that the bill is an obvious threat to free speech as it would target Americans for their political beliefs.
Additionally, this move highlights the hypocrisy of the so-called Russian hacking scandal pushed by the political establishment. As Senator Chuck Schumer rants about an unproven Russian influence in the government, his actions blatantly take away American's rights, in order to serve the interests of Israel.
