Unfortunately, Will, bottled glass water is not available everywhere - I would be using it were it readily available in this backwater little town.
However, I do reuse mine for months at a time, refilling it with tap water (filtered, usually). There are different forms of recycling.

That is true I rarely see glass bottles used for this. On the rare occasion I do buy bottled I do try to reuse the bottle, to store water in the fridge.
And a great investment!
In theory youre correct but in practice this does not always happen or is not practical.
