Just ***** tap water, North Americans. So few places where that is an issue.

And everyone buy Nalgine bottles. Just carry your own water around.

Unfortunately, Will, bottled glass water is not available everywhere - I would be using it were it readily available in this backwater little town.
However, I do reuse mine for months at a time, refilling it with tap water (filtered, usually). There are different forms of recycling.

that is part of the reason i bought a britta water filter and a steel canteen

Evian spelled backwards is "naive"

That is true I rarely see glass bottles used for this. On the rare occasion I do buy bottled I do try to reuse the bottle, to store water in the fridge.

And a great investment!
Plastic should be ******. Glass is better.

In theory youre correct but in practice this does not always happen or is not practical.
Nice analysis!
