Borat gets battered

Yeah i read this the other day, pretty funny.

Hugh Laurie saving his ass is pretty great too!

Still, i love Borat. I'm surprised this only just happened though! I would of kicked his ass long ago if i'd met him! :D

I don't know very much about Sacha Cohen and I haven't seen Borat but, I'm always up to see or hear about some Hollywood clown:clown: getting a good ol' fashioned ass whooping.:nanner::D
When most people are out in public minding their own business they don't want strangers coming up to them talking all sorts of crazy bs.

Its been all over the news for weeks about the problems. The number of people suing his ass right now outnumbers the tit and ass threads in here. He paid $3 bucks each to the people in his "village" saying it was a documentary to show their poverty and struggle. That it would help them get help. I can't find anything funny in that. They have even filed suit along with many others. They dooped tons of people on this flick. I wouldn't pay to see it.

IMHO it was done under false pretences, many segments were, which is against the law. Like selling to many shares to finance a movie or play is.

dont know him, havent seen the movie, but still. this is kinda funny. from what ive heard he's still in charactor as this borat guy. thats kinda weird.

If it was true what he did to those villagers (so far i've seen no proof of what is being claimed) then yes it was harsh. But all the other people he duped where told afterwards what had happened, and they signed on the dotted line to say it was all ok with them. Tonnes of footage wasn't used because people wouldn't sign afterwards. So the people in the film were ok with it... That's good enough for me.

I don't agree with anyone of the lawsuits but....Is anyone else just fucking sick of this guy?

What's so bad about Borat but not Michael Moore?

They dooped tons of people on this flick. I wouldn't pay to see it.
So why is this a big deal but not when Michael Moore does it? He (his various crews) has been guilty of lying to people to get them on camera and then quoting them out-of-context heavily to make points that were utterly not the same when the full context is shown from the complete interview. Like the soldier who lost both of his arms due to a tire blowout.

Just my $0.02.

Thank you.

"Fair and Balanced"...more of a punchline than a description.

Why is everyone on his back for making a movie. When the TV show was out, and it wasn't that popular to be honest, no one wanted anything to do with it. Now everyone wants to be a part of it, whether thats just complaining or even going to the rediculous length of suing the guy.
If anything, it has helped that small village in Romania to show the poverty they live in, and in all honesty, they wouldn't have got a better image even if they had not been in the movie.
