It is all good I'm glad I'm not the only one that enjoys track and field:thumbsup:

Phenomenal.

The lad is a freak of nature........9.58secs.............that is just off the scale altogther.

Brilliant, and unbelievable!

How long before the international federation declares all his records are bogus because he used speed-enhancing shorts or shoes? :dunno:

That is a damn good question:dunno:I'm still an hour away from seeing him do it.Don't get me wrong I like him and he easily could have broken in China until he starting showboating.at the end

I love the 100m race and love seeing the record get set he cut 0.11 seconds off of his record....9.58 unbelievable I hope its a clean record...in 1996 Donovan bailey set the wr at 9.84 in just 13 years its been dropped an incredible 0.26 seconds!\

how low can Bolt go....

Steroids............creating better athletes everyday!:yinyang:
Usains Bolt's victories and record are not because of bigger and stronger muscles. They are because of the way he runs.

Usain is very tall (1M96 ; 6.5 fts), he has longs legs so his stride is geater. Usually, runners with a great stride have a slower cadence. Usain has a cadence as fast as smaller guys, like Tyson Gay.

It means that, by a given time, Usain can take as many steps as other runners but his steps are greater.

I finally get to see it nice way to break it down Johan:thumbsup:

Usain Bolt would look good running the 100yrd dash in a New Orleans Saints jersey:thefinger.....for all the popularity of TrackNField...he could make CRAZY BIG BUCKS playing in the NFL....:thefinger

Hell, I bet he could actually play pro ball in 2 years. He's also big enough to be a useful blocking WR.....

When he's done with Track, NOBODY will touch the records he sets... not for a loooooong time. He really is a special athlete.

That showboating in the Olympics (though I abhor showboating) was the lasting image of the Olympics...

Dwain Chambers (5th on today's race) tried Football in an NFL europa Franchise while he was ou of Trak&Field because of doping. He didn't succeed. He next tried rugby and it was not sucessfull either.

Track&Fields and Football are very different, it's very difficult to change from one to another.

He'd be a great receiver or tailback, until the first time he met head-on with the likes of Troy Polamalu or Joey Porter. **

Usain Bolt is a freak of nature. Obviously he dazzled people when he was 14 years old and everybody who saw him then knew he's gonna change the world of track & field.

Even though I'm very much a ball guy, meaning I usually watch sports where's a ball involved, but I always watch the Olympic and WC track & field events. And I'm actually glad I did watch it tonight. This guy's puttin on a serious show.

But now it's enough, bring on the Champions League...:glugglug:
