I'm only 5 episodes into the second season, due to the fact that I no longer have HBO and I have to match my schedule with my friend's so I can go over to her house and watch it. It's definitely my favorite show on tv right now.

By the way, whenever I see Nucky's butler, the German guy, I can't help thinking of supadupafly. :1orglaugh

This show kicked all kinds of ass this season. Last season was good too (fave line: You gotta ***? I gotta ***. He gotta ***. Everybaaaaady got guns!) But this season has been delivering the mail!

That episode felt more like a series finale than a season finale. Seems like most every story arc got wrapped up or there was enough foreshadowing to give viewers a good idea of what happened to most of the characters. I'm not sure where they can go from that ending (especially if a certain character is dead - that was a beautiful scene on the shore... very similar to "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge").

Well, it was good (great, actually) while it lasted. But that's cool. After next season I can cancel HBO forever (unless I suffer a brain injury and decide to start watching "Girls"). :clap:

BE is a great show that gives us a look into the lives of gangsters during the heyday of the prohibition era, hope it goes out with a lot of bangs!

I agree, it is one of the best shows on a cable channel.

I'm still on season 3

My fav character is Van Alden #1, Richard Harrow and the ruthless gangster Gyp Rosetti. Rosetti scares the **** out of me. The only female character I enjoyed watching was the maid Katie played by Heather Lind.

Since the upcoming season is apparently the last season, I think I was happy enough with how last season ended. To me, that felt like the end. So I don't think I'll watch this next season.

The lost their pier set on Long Island two years ago in the hurricane, so it wasn't worth the expense to rebuilt it for another year or two.

Just got turned on to this show on Amazon Prime. It's awesome. Just finished season 2 when Nucky ***** Jimmy so I'm a bit bummed out about it. Maybe it's a good thing....it had revealed a rather bizarre sexual twist that was quite Oedipal in nature that was a real turnoff for me. Was glad to see the Commodore get his before Jimmy departed....too bad he couldn't take his fuckin' ****** with him. It will be interesting to see what Richard Harrow does in the aftermath. Season 3 starts for me this weekend.
