Board Quality Slipping?

Is it my imagination or has the quality of the posts, at least in the talk section of the board, degraded?

We have had a spree of threads about "***" lately, replies to which create the image of the 12 year old poster sat at his screen writhing in the hiliarious mirth only someone that old could enjoy. These threads outrank and outnumber the threads about mature conversation.

Yea sure we have the occasional stupid moment, but have a little dignity about it.

"Do you check your ***"

"My *** came out green..."

What makes it worse, the people who start these threads seem proud of the sheer immaturity they display. I appreciate this is a forum for adult content, but why do people have to act in a manner that degrades the board.

We have a community here, fun, mature, decent, least it used to be.

I dont expect the board to be worthy of the annuls of oxford, or so stuff shirt fun has no place. But come on.

I shall cease posting posthaste (HA!) and board quality shall consequentially improve.

What's wrong with My assasinate Obama thread? It's talking about methods of assasination which is interesting and pointing out the difference that those outside the american empire have the freedom to talk about it while those inside don't.

i think to post no thread, is better than to post an obviously disturbing and provocative thread. just because you are a non american doesnt give you the right to talk about assasinating one

If the Talk section is slow and inane, it's a general phenomenon. Don't pin it on individual members.

Don't bait each other into name calling and flaming. Being provocative is a thin red line.
