Bloomberg ban on styrofoam plus ****** composting.

You keep hammering away at the money aspect of this. I'm a guy who lives in Las Vegas and an 18 year veteran of the casino biz, and I'm asking you to look at the fact that this **** is toxic to our planet. There's more to life and existence than money. And like Rev and I posted consecutively above, when the taste of the beverage is altered, that means something else has been introduced to it. Does this not trouble you? Or are you too busy saving a quarter a cup to wonder what type of chemical wipes out the taste of coffee?

There are lots of thing that are not good for humans and the planet. Legislation alone does not hold the answers. Switch from foam to paper and we are cutting down too many trees. We can find solutions but an end user cost must be reached to make it successful. This has been done many times. Organic produce prices are now in line with the supermarkets. Recycled products are there too. Natural household chemicals now stand up to the effectiveness of the pollutants at a competitive price. Corn and hemp ideas are great for many reasons but it's useless if the cost is too high. Back to the NYC schools decision to not switch for 11 years.

Solar panels would sure save on focal fuels but why aren't they on every building? Geothermal? You want to start creating laws to mandate them for every new home built? Are they being implemented into every newly built government or school building? No way. Save the world with no free refills on my ****.

Lets be honest here. McDonald's only bailed because of public pressure. I would bet, though I have no proof, that Starbucks DOESN'T use it because IT DOES effect the taste....lets face it, they're coffee nerds, that's why their coffee is so good., and if it doesn't go away, it needs to be recycled. In my city, they pick up recycling every week with the regular trash...can be in cans, or bags, we have 2 cans in the house. It sucks, but you do what you have to do. They expect paper to be in a paper bag, and cardboard to be bundled, or in a cardboard box. It can all be a pain, but it would be worse with Styrofoam in the mix. I can live with the peanuts, but I wouldn't cry if they went away...I just think it needs to stay for form fitted electronic goods.

I can remember more then once getting wings and cheese fries from BW3, and the fries were in a Styrofoam container, and they nuked it, to melt the cheese, and you could see that the Styrofoam melted with the cheese on some of the fries. Might as well ***** fucking bleach. That **** can't be good for you.
