Blade Runner prequel – or sequel – on the way

Computer special effects are a joke. Star Wars, *****, Blade Runner etc are amazing the way they are. Those movies would have been worse with the type of SE technology used today.

I was impressed with Tron Legacy.....Bar the bad Tron Deux ex machina moment.....It was good because they got it right and because it was a sequel.

Prequel or reboot of blade runner would be a cluster fuck. Whereas they could kick ass cyber punk style once again as a sequel....Lots of alluded **** in the original. Provide enough back story fluff.......Newer models...Maybe answer the big question.

Was Harrison Ford's character in fact a replicant.

PS> Probably was.....Based on Philip K Dick novel....And most of that **** he wrote on his own psychosis.
I disagree. I like the ambiguous ending which leaves it open to interpretation as to whether Deckard is a replicant or not. I don't want a definitive answer.
Its the same with the forthcoming ***** prequel. Why explain the mystery? Some things are best left in the imaginations of the audience rather than explained in order to make more money from a franchise. & I don't want Blade Runner turning into a franchise!

As far as him being a replicant I never thought it was that big of a mystery myself. Given all the clues they pretty much seemed to come barely short of just coming out and stating it. It's to the point I would be surprised if he wasn't unless it was just a purposeful big red herring. :dunno:

True enough, but its still better to leave it be rather than make a sequel that answers the question. Because where can you go from there? :dunno:

They better not do anything to Big Trouble In Little China!

Ugh... these types of projects always make me nervous... they usually fuck up a classic in the process of trying to make some money off re-hashing something they didn't have to put any thought into...

Kosove said "Ridley Scott's blessing to what were doing is very important to Alcon"

So this means if Scott says no, they will drop it? He fucking better do.
