I struggle to keep my 3.8" nokia lumia in my pockets. But I can see the display perfectly fine. Why the fuck would anyone want anything bigger? Its a phone, not a penis! All this upsizing is pure marketing as far as I'm concerned...

Isn't it funny how cell phone sizes have gone through phases? I mean, we went from the giant "Gordon Gekko" phones of the 80's:

to phones so small that the average person could barely hold them without dropping them:

Now we have "smart" phones (which really aren't smart at all, IMO) and they're going from reasonable size to ridiculously large.

For me, a phone with a 4-4.5 inch screen seems about right. My eyes, they no so good no more. So I would like a bigger screen. And having large hands and fingers, it's easier for me to click links or buttons on the screen if it isn't too small. But I agree with what others have said: these phablets (what is that, 5+ inches?) do look ridiculous. And what's even stranger (to me, anyway) is that they are most popular in China and other parts of Asia. So some of the smallest people in the world want the biggest possible phones. Hmm, compensating much???
