Best Xbox 360 Mod Chip?

The only mod chip I've heard anyone use is call IntensaFIRE, and is more of a limited purpose chip.

dunno about modding. xbox has cracked down and issued a rash of bans with the MW2 release. Who knows when they'll do it again. Not worth it IMO.

I never found the glory in modding a system except for the fact of bragging to friends that you have a butchered up system and they don't.

Only modding I am slightly interested in, of course after warranty is all dried up is this:

Ive have a modded 360 but only for single player games due to banning.

Buy used and ****** not worth loosing a warranty from M$. M$ will eventually catch up to newer versions of mods out there so banning is inevitable.

My mod is so outdated that some games don't work...at least the xbox is still going strong for 2 years now.

I dont know what mod i have either sorry, it was done by a mod shop in the city. Id look for soft mods, at least the sticker wont be tamperd with from opening but when you return the xbox for repairs, if so, just say u got the 3RLOD. They usally just send you back a refurb one.

get your dvd drive softmodded to ixtreme 1.61 firmware, cost around 22 quid and turnaround is about 3 to 4 days if your in uk and need the link let me no.

you get a better deal on ebay for xbox 360 modding . i got my talismoon whisper fan on there boxed new with free posted for half the price than buying from online sites.

anyone use XPORT? i was looking at some Fallout 3 mods that look cool but apparently the only way to get them on the xbox is through XPORT.


and yes, i want Premium Link Upgrade , but thats not the only mod i want! just the primary one lol

It's easy to fix the x box 360. Just need to open it up and do your own changes. It's not so easy if you've never done it before though. At first you don't even know where to start. I was able to fix every error for a while then I just gave up since I had enough to buy an elite, but that's because I really want to make a custom x box 360 with my old kit so I don't mess up my current one.
