I do hear that the U.K. has some of the best take away food....probadly the one popular take away food we have here in Boston well north of Boston actually is hot roast beef sandwiches. Usually on an onion roll with cheese, and bbq sauce.

IMO, the best take away in Chicago are Maxwell Street Polish off Roosevelt and 90/94 and Gyros from Greek town on Halsted.
