So that's how you embed a youtube video here...

1. take the " http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=" out of the link

2. Just put the root in ... " UoH9zP_n_g0 "... in the bracketed youtube quotes.

Thanks!!! :)

This poll is about Rock singers, not Metal singers.
What the hell is Amy Lee doing on your list then? Evanescence is a metal band, just as Arch Enemy, Nightwish, Within Temptation and some of the other bands mentioned here.

Oh, and Rachel Nagy is my favourite rock n´ roll singer.

No Ann Wilson, Grace Slick or Pat Benatar? :dunno::confused::wtf:

I hereby declare this poll null and void regardless of the final results. :1orglaugh

Janis Joplin's voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me....never could stand her. Of the choices on the list, I voted Amy Lee but she ain't the best.

Yes I too would put those three above all the others on the pole. Although I think Nancy Wilson has the better voice, Ann has aged much better.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the ladies of ABBA?

Maybe because Agnetha and Anni-Frid ain't Rock singers, they're Pop singers.

They did enough songs that were rock to be considered.

BTW Someone I know ran into Agnetha in a elevator at Capitol Records. He told her he was madly in love with her, and asked her to quit the group, leave her husband and run off with him. She had a good laugh! It was his bad fortune they were at the height of their worldwide popularity then, a few years one way or the other, he might have had a chance. ;)

Swedish people are exempt? lol :) j/k

Those would be Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Agnetha Fältskog. Yeah me. I forgot to read the three posts above this...

Good choices knowone! :)

Pat Benetar was the one who instantly came to mind when I saw the thread title.

Second place would be Joan Jett. She has one of the greatest rock songs ever - male or female, with "I Love Rock and Roll".

Siouxsie Sioux. She is awesome front woman with punk attitude and original style!
