What the hell is Amy Lee doing on your list then? Evanescence is a metal band, just as Arch Enemy, Nightwish, Within Temptation and some of the other bands mentioned here.

Janis Joplin's voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me....never could stand her. Of the choices on the list, I voted Amy Lee but she ain't the best.

BTW Someone I know ran into Agnetha in a elevator at Capitol Records. He told her he was madly in love with her, and asked her to quit the group, leave her husband and run off with him. She had a good laugh! It was his bad fortune they were at the height of their worldwide popularity then, a few years one way or the other, he might have had a chance.
