AMy Lee is not really a metal singer, one of my all time favorites was punk/metal songstress Wendy O Williams.

Agreed. Amy Lee isn't metal. She's rock. The band is borderline metal, but her singing is not metal.

Then you would have to delete Tarja Turunen and Floor Jansen from the poll as well because they are opera singers (that sing in metal bands).

Cristina Scabbia and Sharon Den Adel for me. I got the pleasure to see both live in San Francisco and are amazing! Had to vote for Cristina though only because I like Lacuna Coil more.

Doro Pesch. Loved her in Warlock. She sounds amazingly like Geddy Lee at times. I am convinced she could cover Rush songs flawlessly.
