Tim Horton's. Not sure if America has a Timmy's.

Not to my knowledge but I have sampled Timmy's many times on the numerous wonderful occasions I have had the opportunity to visit our fantastic neighbor to the north. Excellent beyond question....by far the best in Canada....but Krispy Kreme still rules over all.

I fucking love Krispy Kream's regular glazed donuts. They are hands down the best. The thing that makes them so good is that they don't deep fry their donuts like everyone else does.

My second favorite are Dunkin Donuts chocolate glazed.

Other than that, you can never go wrong with Entenmann's donuts.

Krispy Kreme gave it a shot here in Windsor and failed pretty hard. Tim Hortons is the Don here. They've even run Dunkin Donuts out of town :( I use to love DD when I was a ***.

My Canadian brethren will hang me for saying this, but Tim Hortons is the most overrated trash on the planet, IMO. They're coffee isn't good. Their hot chocolate sucks and their donuts/timbits are nothing to rave about. We have a Tim Hortons beside my work so I often grab a sour cream glazed and a chocolate milk when I'm on break, but it's only because of convenience, not desire.

Anybody in the Portland area? I've seen Premium Link Upgrade on T.V quite a few times. They look delicious. :yummie:

Also, my favourite donuts are the ones you get at the carnival. Piping hot with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Mmmm.

Any donut so long as it's a cake type batter donut (I don't care for those puffy airy sugar glazed donuts...at all) and it's fried at or slightly above 350º... you can keep the grease! ;)

Premium Link Upgrade are fucking awesome! They're just in the San Jose area, unfortunately. Here are a few pictures that I took when we got them in catering when Roger Watters played at the HP Pavilion. They're fucking out of this world! :yummie:

I'd say.

From Psycho Donuts Linky....

''Canadian Morning Squeal Meal

A fluffy buttermilk bar, bathed in maple icing, and decorated in chocolate, with a generous smattering of crispy bacon.''

''Zombie Ballz are Here!

Zombie Ballz are rich chocolate cake Psycho Ballz, bathed in green tea icing, Oreo dust, and ***** red drizzle.''

The ones that I ripped into the Principal's lawn back in High School were pretty epic.

You know, Jagger, in general I agree with, and respect you. But in this instance I am going to have to go ahead and call you a bum head.

Krispy Kreme < Tim Hortons.

Tim Horton doughnuts are more like cake. Krispy Kreme is just so sweet, it hurts my teeth just thinking about it.

They are delicious. Very delicious. If any of you visit the Portland area, pay Voodoo a visit - you won't regret it.

Here's the donut scene in the Portland area: Voodoo in the city, Krispy Kreme in the suburbs. Dunkin Donuts was around until the late 90s (one former DD not too far from me is now a sushi restaurant), and the last Winchell's in the area closed a few years back. I miss DD's chocolate filled powdered donuts (or whatever the fuck they were called).
