However please change your signature. You may think so but Noel Gallagher, ex lead guitarist and main songwriter for Oasis, has not been knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. Therefore "Sir" in his case is irrelevant.
I met him in 05' @ the Marleybone Pub, 2 blocks from Madison Square Garden and I showed him the respect he deserves and called him Sir!
