I saw Jimi H in Houston less than a year before he ODd; saw the Who do Tommy in Houston as well; favorite 2 concerts after those were the Eagles Hotel California Tour ( I bought an entire row and sold some to friends and family at cost so we all sat together and shared supplies), and the most rock out band I've ever seen: Cheap Trick...awesome!
I've been to a lot of outdoor festivals and such, but with the exception of a small venue show with Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes not a lot of big name shows...too plastic and controlled for me after the 70s.
My hair was long and still dark then...:)

I gotta add the Moody Blues as they were just awesome fine in live concert...I was a bit high at that one but I do remember somewhat of the awe I felt.

im hoping to see the cure at least once. and nine inch nails... i really should look up tickets more.

Forgot this..........saw the cure twice.......the first could have been the Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me tour here at The Music Hall and the other was at the Richfield Coliseum maybe Wish tour ? Exellent !

Why save the world, when you can rule it?
I saw Lisa Lashes once.
I actually saw her cleavage before I saw her.

I wish I'd seen DJ Energy live.

Journey 1982 I was 8 years old and went with my mom. It was during the big Blizzard of 82 here in Colorado and the band played all night long in appreciation of the crowd showing up despite the weather. Steve Perry is amazing and Journey was never the same after he left IMO. xoxo

Was lucky to see Journey once here in ohio back in the 80's i think. Well, the band is still around, gotta give 'em credit. Thanks for posting !

Best: Soundgarden 1991 or Queen's Of The Stone Age 2007 in the UK.

Wished I'd Seen: Nirvana in 1990. I was on a weekend away visiting a friend and was given a ticket to watch them but I couldn't make it due to other committments. I thought oh well I'll catch them another time but never did. What a fucker.

FUCK! The Agora. You must be old.

The Rolling Stones in 1981 at ASU Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe Arizona when they had about 100 ASU coeds dressed up like old west hookers and sang Honky Tonk Woman. You can see it in the concert movie "Let's Spend The Night Together"

Led Zeppelin at Chicago Stadium in 1975. It was a "contact high"

Had to be great shows...thanks for replying !

In September 1978, some of my friends and I saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse at the Nassau Coliseum. That was a amazing show. :)

Here was the encore...

I would have liked to have seen The Concert for Bangladesh on August 1, 1971 at Madison Square Garden with George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr, Ravi Shankar, Leon Russell, and Badfinger ;) ...

However, I was too young. :(

Best: Guns N' Roses, 1993 Use Your Illusion tour. Believe it or not they were on time and played for 2.5 hours without drama.

Wish: Led Zeppelin

Never saw Guns N' Roses but i am sure it was a great show from a great band ! Thanks for replying and posting !

I saw The Who's FIRST farewell concert...I think it was in support of the album, "It's Hard". I remember the lines, AND the wrist bands. I remember the concert in Cincinnati that ended festival setting. I think it was better back then, standing in line, and listening on vinyl, made you appreciate the concert more. It's to "clean" now...the digital remasters don't have the depth, and warmth of vinyl, and the instant gratification of music on the internet, and being able to have everything right at your fingertips, doesn't make this generation appreciate what it was TRULY like, back then...when you could blaze up in the concert hall, because EVERYONE else was, and there was no way you would get busted, because everyone was!

Yeah, the memories, the aroma ha ! And you got to see The Who.........exellent ! Thanks for posting and replying !
