Oh man, I have never ever given a shit about whats number 1 in the charts, including christmas... But this year I am pretty fucking excited.
If they get number 1, it will be such a fucking great moment. Tom Morello is backing it too on his twitter :1orglaugh
I'm with you on that. This'll probably the one and only time (since I was a young'un) that I'll actually give a damn about chart position.
I don't even really care about the whole "protest" that lead to this being put forward. It'll just be funny and great to have that as a number 1.

Yeah me neither. X factor being number 1 every year doesn't bother me because, as I said before, I don't give a fuck about the charts. It will be funny. I hope it get's onto a christmas compilation album next year :1orglaugh
According to Amazon and Itunes, both singles are pretty much 50-50, with RATM slightly in the lead. After tomorrow though I'm pretty sure Joe will move into top spot, as the physical single comes out. Still, even top 10 is fucking impressive for a metal song that came out in 92!!
I wasn't going to buy it because I must have about 4 copies of the song in one place or another and it seems like a bit of a waste. But now I think I might as well. It's only a pound(ish).

Also, I heard that duet w/bowie and bing has some interesting facts. First, Bing had no idea who Bowie was. Also, I heard that Bing thought Bowie was a woman the first time they met! Finally... Bing beat his wife and kids! Nothing like the Holidays right!
