Best Car Chase

The Bourne Supremacy

Ronin is a good choice too.

In an age of CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) and advanced, unreal special effects ..

Ronin (1998) was a refreshing change from the norm with its two (2) car chases.

Bullitt
Terminator 2

Who Am I? - Jackie Chan's Lancer (Evo 4) flipped onto its side, crashed through fruit stands, bounded down stairs, and caused another car to sail off the side of a 4-story parking garage.

My list in no particular order:
Bullitt
French Connection
Seven-Ups
The Italian Job (original)
Gone in 60 Seconds (original)

I don't care for the newer movies with too many cuts and fake CGI.

You have to go back a couple decades to get REALLY good car chases..

As mentioned Bullitt and Vanishing Point, as well as the original Gone in 60 Seconds are benchmarks.

Another great one from the same era is the "Gumball Rally". Cannonball Run is but a pale imitation. The race through the LA river basin between a 427 Cobra and a Ferrari 365 is worth the price of admission.

Another great one is "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry" Peter Fonda driving a Curious Yellow 69 Charger. It's fast, It's loud, it's bright .. Everything you want in a low key getaway car!!!!

A little known 70s car chase movie is one with Joe Don Baker is "Speedtrap".

The addition of CGI has ruined movies that are supposed to be car guy movies, the cars do too much outlandish crap.

In Dirty Mary, once the Charger gets bent, it stays bent, and the movie has one of the best and most unexpected endings ever put on film, and you have probably seen it and never realized it.

If you Like car chase movies these are really good ones to check out.

One other one is a movie called "short time" with Dabney Coleman. You can check out the synopsis at IMDB, and The car chase starts with Dabney's partner , played by the guy that was "Max Headroom" yells "Burt, YOUR YOGURT".

I know I love the bourne triology chases they are all sweet!!

I haven't seen most of the others everybody has mentioned!! mostly before my time!!

gone in sixty seconds! was pretty good,

How come when you wanna mention them you can't think of them and then when its not important or too late you remember alot of them?? :rofl2: :hatsoff:
